HotelTonight – Diamond Bar Inland Empire Hotels in Minutes

Tucked into the eastern Los Angeles County region of the Inland Empire, Diamond Bar consistently impresses both visitors and Southern California locals with its beauty. Diamond Bar is home to well-manicured parks, breathtaking natural scenery and sprawling estates, so it's no surprise that this city is considered a highly desirable place to live in Southern California. After all, the word "diamond" is in the name of the city. I recently took a trip to Southern California and wanted to stay a bit off the beaten path, which is how I discovered Diamond Bar. I had stayed in the heart of Los Angeles too many times before, and I wanted a quieter and more authentic Southern California experience, so I started browsing HotelTonight's selection of hotels in the Inland Empire. After a few minutes on the HotelTonight app, I had found a terrific hotel in Diamond Bar, so I didn't hesitate to book it. And that's how I ended up calling Diamond Bar my temporary home, and I wouldn't have traded that experience for anything. My stay in Diamond Bar led to countless memorable moments and experiences, and it was ultimately one of my favorite California trips of all time.

Parks

The city of Diamond Bar prides itself on its beautiful outdoor spaces, both its natural landscapes and its city-owned parks. I had the chance to explore several parks during my stay in Diamond Bar, and these pretty little green spaces are popular among locals for recreation, fitness and mingling with neighbors and friends. Notable parks in Diamond Bar include the Carlton Peterson Park, Heritage Park, Pantera Park, Summitridge Park and Sycamore Canyon Park.

Recreation Trails

In addition to all of the pretty parks scattered throughout the city, Diamond Bar is also home to a great selection of recreational hiking and biking trails. Since I knew I couldn't pass up a great hike in the beautiful Southern California sunshine, I asked a few locals for trail recommendations. Fortunately, Diamond Bar locals are very friendly and more than happy to offer great recommendations, so I was able to enjoy some of the best hiking trails in the area during my stay, including the Pantera Park Trail and the Summitridge Park Trail.

Kid-Friendly Entertainment

The Inland Empire is a great location for families with children, as it's smack dab in the middle of the action of Southern California. All of the best kid-friendly attractions and entertainment options are just a quick drive away, including Disneyland, beaches, the Orange County Zoo and popular museums. There are so many activities and entertainment options that will excite children in Southern California that a trip to the West Coast really is a getaway that the whole family can enjoy. There's definitely no shortage of things to do, see and experience, which is why my own family always makes such fond memories on trips to Southern California.

Shopping

Diamond Bar is located near some fantastic shopping, and I visited a few of the nearby shopping centers so that I could really get a feel for what life is like for Diamond Bar locals. From The Shoppes at Chino Hills to Brea Mall, there are plenty of great retail and entertainment centers to meet any needs you may have. Whether you want to pick up some new swimsuits for your beach day or you want to find a great restaurant that locals love, you'll be able to find what you're looking for at a nearby shopping and entertainment complex in the Inland Empire.

Pomona

Pomona is a lovely little town in eastern Los Angeles County that features a charming, old-fashioned downtown and a tight-knit community atmosphere. Since Pomona is located right next to Diamond Bar, I took the quick drive into Pomona many times to check out local coffee shops and popular eateries. Downtown Pomona is full of character and energy, and walking down its streets is like walking back in time to California 50 years ago. It's a lovely little area, and I'd certainly recommend checking it out to anybody staying in Diamond Bar.

HotelTonight – Great Hotels in Diamond Bar Inland Empire

Diamond Bar is not exactly on the radar of most tourists visiting California, but that's exactly why I enjoyed staying here so much. The city itself is peaceful and absolutely lovely, so there's no doubt that it's a fantastic place to live. It's also a great place to stay when exploring Southern California, since it's close to countless major attractions and towns and it's also a safe, calm neighborhood where you can feel at home. I loved having the chance to experience a new side of Southern California during my recent trip out west, and my unique Inland Empire getaway wouldn't have been as hassle-free or as easy without HotelTonight, which helped me find a great Diamond Bar hotel in just a few taps on my phone.
