If you’re attempting to redeem a coupon and are seeing an error message, it’s likely because:
- The code has expired.
- The booking does not meet the terms of the code. These terms can include time, location or minimum spend restrictions.
- The maximum number of people have already redeemed it.
- You’ve already redeemed the code.
- You’ve entered the code incorrectly.
- You're trying to redeem a code for first-time customers, but have already booked with us using this account, this device or this payment method. (Sorry, no double-dipping!)

What is the HT Price Guarantee?

We work ‘round the clock to make sure you get the best rates on HotelTonight. If you find a lower price elsewhere – and it meets all the conditions below – we’ll top up your account with HT credits equal to the difference between what you paid on HotelTonight and the lower price.

Conditions:
- We guarantee our price for 2 hours for same-day and 24 hours (up until the midnight before check-in) for future bookings.
Hotels often change pricing daily – sometimes even from hour to hour depending on their demand – For this reason, we do not guarantee against ourselves.
- The lower rate must be for the same hotel, the same date(s), and the room type that you booked on HotelTonight (no bunk beds!)
- The lower rate must be available to the general public. AARP, AAA, military, corporate rates, etc. do not apply.
- Rates offered through loyalty programs, contests or as part of a travel package aren’t valid.
- Rates from apps or websites where you don’t know the name of the hotel until after booking, rates from websites/apps where you name your own price and rates you must call in for aren’t valid either.
The lower price you found must be more than just a difference in taxes or fees.

How do I get the Capital One Venture Discount?

To get access to this 10% discount, go to your profile and tap “Promotions.” Then redeem the promo code 'VENTURE’ - and make sure the toggle button is set to ON. You’ll then see the Venture Rate appear in the app!

Please note that not all hotels are eligible for the discount, and you'll need to book with a Capital One Venture card to get this deal.

How is the Capital One Discount calculated

As soon as the VENTURE promo is enabled on your account, you’ll start seeing the Venture Rate badge on eligible hotels. That Venture Rate reflects the already-discounted HotelTonight rate (before taxes and fees) minus the 10% promotional discount. If you’d like to see what the room was priced at prior to the discount, you’ll see it in the booking summary screen just before you confirm your booking.
